Differentiation between the Asparagales and the Liliales The Asparagales share the need to be attractive with the Liliales. They need to be the center of attention. It is their raison d'etre. They are easily offended and easily discouraged. The religious concerns are not quite as strong in this Order. They are showy, artistic and attractive.
