Family Solanaceae(nightshade family)Rx:[Bell. Hyoscamus. Stram. Dulc. Tab. Capiscum. Fab. Nicot. Mand. Franc. Lycop. Sol-n] Notes: The Solanaceae contain a range of alkaloids. Tropane alkaloids are found in Atropa Belladonna, and in the Datura, Mandragora, and Brugmansia genera, as well as many others in the Solanaceae family. Pharmacologically, they are the most powerful known anticholinergics in existence, meaning they inhibit the neurological signals transmitted by acetylcholine. Symptoms of overdose may include mouth dryness, dilated pupils, ataxia, urinary retention, hallucinations, convulsions, coma, and death. In safe doses they can reverse cholinergic poisoning, caused by exposure to pesticides and chemical warfare agents (eg Sarin). [Wikipedia] Sensation as if : Explosive Violence Terror Pulsation Spasm. When feelings are supressed we can beome quite materialstic in outlook. The deep waters of the shadow self are avoided - hydrophobia runs through the whole family. The Belladonna state is reminicscent of Rabies, and there are fears of mad dogs in the rubrics. In Rabies all the darker instincts of the Base Chakra are unleashed. The remedies produce unrestrained desire, with its close followers, jealousy, pride, rage and violence.

It was caused by a burning cigarette or an untended candle. They crawled through the smoke to safety. She is couragous by nature - that is the only time she has ever been visibly shaken.Ever since she has had a fear of fire ... she must dowse every ash-tray in the house in water before going to bed. Also checking and re-cheking (Caust) that avery appliance is turned off. If anyone is staying up she needs to re-assured, many times over, that everything is "taken care of". She has horrific dreams (fire, the dead, narrow corridors.). There is sleep paralysis - half awake but unable to move. She reads the news every day, and is a state of constant distress about the state of the world, from Politicial minutiae to natural disasters She is sickened and incensed by injustice, and has violent and angry thoughts. (Caust. had a mellowing effect, she had a rash for 2days, which never returned - cured symptom). Note that like the Solanaceae other Rx can be reproachful, of others e.g. Carc(=sensorious), Caust=(slander) - There is such a close relationship that these seem to form a 'group'. When out walking all the anxiety is gone except that she loaths and is terrifed of, DOGS (but not of animals in general). She still suffers from an intense fear of losing control on a personal level, and of loss of control on a global level, which strongly suggests a remedy in the Cancer miasm (Tabac). The acute remedy Belladonna should not be ruled out too quickly ... the acute fear is persisting.
